Salary: Circa £26,000 per annum, with excellent opportunities for rapid progression
Hours: Full Time, Permanent (Monday to Friday, approximately 8:00am – 5:00pm)

The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Solar Designer & Compliance Administrator to join a growing renewable energy business specialising in bespoke solar PV installations for domestic and commercial clients.

This office-based role is ideal for someone early in their career, including recent graduates, who has excellent attention to detail, strong technical aptitude, and enjoys combining design work with administration and customer communication.

Working as part of a professional team, you will support the design, quotation, compliance, and delivery of high-quality solar installations while gaining valuable experience in one of the UK’s fastest-growing sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design solar PV systems using EasyPV software
  • Create property models using Google Earth
  • Specify solar panels, inverters, batteries, and associated equipment
  • Produce customer quotations using the Tradify job management system
  • Prepare customer contracts and installation documentation
  • Complete compliance and handover documentation using Easy MCS
  • Communicate professionally with customers, suppliers, and installers
  • Monitor completed solar installations through online monitoring portals
  • Assist with troubleshooting solar systems and liaise with technical support providers
  • Support other departments as required to ensure smooth project delivery

Important Information

This role is based at Hazelmere, near Petersfield.

Please note there are no public transport links to the office. While a driving licence is not an essential requirement for the role itself, candidates will realistically need access to their own transport to travel to and from the office.

Pay: £26,000.00 per year
