Mathnasium Hammersmith (W6 7PB)

Salary: £26,500–£29,000 + performance bonus

Location: Hammersmith, London

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (5 days over 7)

About Us

Mathnasium is the world’s leading maths-only learning provider, with more than 1,200 centres worldwide. Our Fulham, Notting Hill, and Hammersmith centres are part of a growing multi-centre franchise network, serving hundreds of families in West London and acting as a model for growth across the network.

We don’t just teach maths, we build confidence, unlock potential and change lives.

The Role

As an Assistant Centre Manager at the Hammersmith centre, you’ll play a central role in delivering an outstanding experience for students and families while being at the heart of both education and operations.

Supporting the Centre Manager, you’ll help lead a team of instructors, engage with the community, and ensure every child thrives. This is also a career-building role with a clear pathway into Centre Management.

We are looking for ambitious, high-achieving graduates who want early responsibility, commercial exposure, and a clear pathway into leadership.

What We Offer

  • Salary of £26,500–£29,500 per year + performance-related bonus.
  • 28 days holiday allowance.
  • Career development and progression opportunities.
  • Full training in the Mathnasium Method™, with continuous on-the-job training.
  • Supportive, energetic team environment.
  • Family and Friends tuition discount.

Training

This is a structured, hands-on management development role.

Over time, you will gain experience across:

  • Operations & Leadership – running a centre day-to-day
  • Customer Experience – building relationships with families
  • Commercial Growth – driving enrolment and retention
  • Team Management – recruiting, training, and leading instructors
  • Education Delivery – understanding and applying the Mathnasium Method™

You will work closely with an experienced Centre Manager and receive ongoing mentoring, with a clear progression pathway into a Centre Manager position.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting the day-to-day running of a high-performing education centre
  • Building strong, trust-based relationships with parents and students
  • Leading and motivating a team of instructors
  • Monitoring student progress and delivering academic consultations
  • Contributing to sales conversations and enrolment growth
  • Driving local marketing initiatives, partnerships, and events
  • Taking ownership of centre performance in the Manager’s absence

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Organised, reliable and commercially minded.
  • At least an A-Level (or equivalent) in maths – you don’t need to be a maths expert, just comfortable with numbers.
  • 1–2 years’ experience in a professional environment (e.g. education, retail, hospitality, customer service, sales or team leadership).
  • A genuine passion for helping children succeed.
  • Ambitious and eager to develop into a Centre Manager role.

Most graduate schemes rotate you around a business.
