About the Role

The Supply Pool is recruiting Sports Graduate Classroom Support Assistants to work in partnership with schools across CW3. This is an excellent opportunity for PE graduates, sports coaches, aspiring PE teachers, and individuals with experience working with young people through sport who are looking to gain valuable school-based experience.

You will assist teachers with lesson delivery, support pupils in their learning, and help maintain a positive and engaging classroom environment. Successful candidates will use their enthusiasm, leadership skills, and ability to motivate young people to make a positive impact both inside and outside the classroom.

They are seeking enthusiastic, dedicated, and caring individuals who are passionate about making a positive difference in pupils’ development, learning, wellbeing, and participation in school life.

This role is particularly suited to candidates with backgrounds in Physical Education, Sports Coaching, Sports Science, football coaching, rugby coaching, athletics, or other sporting disciplines who are looking to transfer their skills into an educational setting.

What You’ll Need

✅ A degree in Physical Education, Sports Coaching, Sports Science, Education, or a related field

✅ Experience coaching, mentoring, teaching, or supporting children and young people in a school, sports club, or community setting

✅ Confidence leading and engaging groups of pupils, both in the classroom and during physical activities

✅ Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils

✅ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

✅ A genuine passion for education, sport, physical activity, and supporting young people to achieve their potential

✅ Experience delivering sports coaching sessions, extracurricular activities, or PE lessons would be advantageous

✅ Current DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply

✅ Proof of right to work in the UK
