We are seeking an initiative-taking and enthusiastic Environmental Coordinator to support our environmental and sustainability initiatives. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting compliance with environmental legislation, company policies, and broader sustainability objectives.

This position offers an excellent opportunity for professional development and practical hands-on experience. This role would be ideal for a graduate looking to develop a career in environmental sustainability in business.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the monitoring environmental performance and compliance with legislation.
  • Support waste management, recycling, and resource efficiency initiatives.
  • Help collate, analyse and report environmental data (energy, water, waste, emissions).
  • Participate in environmental audits and site inspections.
  • Assist with maintaining environmental records and documentation.
  • Support Sustainability projects and awareness campaigns.
  • Help investigate environmental incidents and recommend corrective actions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of environmental practices.

Experience

  • GCSE Maths and English
  • Communication skills and presentation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Self-motivated and proactive.
  • Good knowledge of ESG reporting, environmental legislation and regulations is desirable.
  • Previous experience working in a team environment or working as part of a team.
  • Computer literacy – being able to input and interpret data accurately into excel, create and use word documents.
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a high level of independence when required in a fast-paced setting.

Pay: £22,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
