Zest Education is working closely with a range of welcoming secondary schools across Castle Bromwich and East Birmingham who are looking for confident, adaptable, and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to join them from September.
Your role will involve:
Delivering pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects
Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement
Maintaining a productive learning environment
Keeping students focused and on task
Providing feedback to teaching staff after lessons
Building confidence and rapport with students
No subject specialism is required – just confidence, reliability, and the ability to engage young people.
Who Are We Looking For?
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Confidence leading groups of young people
A positive, proactive attitude
A genuine passion for education and supporting students
Good literacy and numeracy skills
School experience is desirable but not essential.
To apply, you’ll need either:
A university degree (recent graduates encouraged to apply), or
At least 20 days’ experience working with children or young people
